Students in grades 3–8 dive into hands‑on projects, creative challenges, and guided exploration in a warm, structured environment. The After‑School Program blends academic support with curiosity‑driven activities, giving students a place to learn, connect, and unwind—no matter which school they attend.

Each year, middle schoolers embark on an international learning adventure that brings global citizenship to life. Students explore new cultures, engage in hands‑on environmental and community projects, and connect their classroom learning to the wider world—building confidence, empathy, and a deeper understanding of global issues.
The 26-27 school year will culminate in a trip to Costa Rica to practice our Global Citizenship, social-emotional, and STEAM skills! Highlights of the trip include: a community & reforestation service project, biodiversity kayaking excursion on the Sarapiquí River, visit with local students in Sarapiquí, organic pineapple farm tour, hot springs, and Arenal Volcano private reserve hike.
Not a full-time WTW student? You are welcome to join us! Just register for our Life Skills Lab Travel Series to prepare for our Costa Rica trip (and future travels)!
Life Skills Labs help 12-18 year-olds grow into capable, independent young people through experiences that build resilience, communication, organization, and everyday problem‑solving. From navigating the L to applying for a first job, students gain practical tools they’ll use far beyond the classroom.

Weekend Workshops offer short, high‑energy learning experiences where students experiment, create, and explore new interests. Some sessions are designed for families to learn together, while others are just for kids—giving parents a few hours to relax while their children dive into something new.
Summer Programming blends adventure, creativity, and project‑based learning to keep students engaged during the break. With a mix of STEAM activities, outdoor exploration, and collaborative challenges, students stay curious, active, and connected throughout the summer months.
